brief

CDA challenged me to create a company brochure that would be targeted at the end consumer.

This 200+ page brochure had to promote CDA’s stylish product range as well as communicate the brand message of innovative, reliable and efficient home appliances to make your life easier.

OUTCOME

This beautiful, spacious and clean design used lots of negative space, consistent use of typography, a limited colour palate and a people-led approach to photography and copy.

I looked at introducing iconography to highlight key selling points, making product specification easier to understand and more engaging for the reader.

Photography was also overhauled through the use over warm, inviting and welcoming computer-generated kitchen sets. Imagery was given a more natural, lived-in feel throughout the brochure with emphasis on tasty food being prepared.

Slogans, statements and tone of voice was customer-centric, putting the end user at the heart of everything we say.

Development of the brand guidelines was pivotal to the success of this project and other brand elements, such as the website, product packaging, advertising campaigns/promotions, vehicle livery and signage.
